A generous limestone terrace provides space for dining and lounge seating, with a bench seat incorporated into a stepped level change linking the South London garden to the main house. The terrace is flanked on either side by deep pockets of shrub and herbaceous planting. Two characterful Amelanchier lamarckii trees are positioned to create dappled shade for the terrace. Gravel paths through the planting connect to the lawn, bordered by perennial beds. To the rear, cherry trees and Chinese dogwood shrubs provide a successional display of flowers in a deep bed, a refuge for wildlife. To view further information about this garden click here.
